Horrible service. I called to place an order and the phone was shut on me while I was still talking. Then talked in a rude tone when I called back to confirm my order. Please don't support a business that doesn't care to serve their clients properly.
I have always had good service and good food at Desi Corner. I have also seen the attitudes of some of the people who come there demanding their orders. The staff have always been polite and work very hard, perhaps you should consider your attitude also towards them, and you might be pleasantly surprised!!!

We bought food for our family reunion from this place (Biryani and Chicken Karahi). It tasted OK but within 3 hours of picking up (and within 4 hours of supposedly cooked), the chicken karahi started to smell like week-old ROTTEN CURRY. about 2 hours later, people started THROWING UP AND HAD RUNS for the entire night.
IT WAS A BAD CHOICE FOR US TO BUY FROM HERE AND WOULD NEVER AGAIN GO THERE FOR ANY FOOD. RATHER WOULD HAVE BAGEL AND CREAM CHEESE FROM TIMS!!!!
So the next morning (today) I called the place to let them know so they dont repeat their mistake with someone else, Mrs Amjad (owner) was very rude with me- instead of apologizing and promising not to serve old food, she was adamant that it was freshly made at 10am that morning. She wouldnt let me talk and was yelling at me on the phone and claimed that my food handling wasnt good... I am not sure what she meant by food handling as we consumed the food within the first 3 hours of it being cooked... - EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISHONEST LYING PEOPLE HERE!!! BEWARE!!!
I totally agree. The food is ok. But the service is so bad. When they are in a customer service biz...they should be well mannered and courteous. They are really rude and impolite. Yes, they increased the prices and the decreased the quantity. It really sucks.
I do not know why people overrate the food at Desi Corner. It is just ok and sometimes insipid. Notice why some days they are spicier because to add taste to it.
More important than this is these guys are rude, discourteous and dishonest. We experienced it twice in this ramazan. Here is the story
We order Aftari for mosque. They called me on the day of delivery and said the price was given by "Mamoon" so it is not acceptable and increased the price by 25%. Since we could not get anything in such a short time, we agreed.They give us trays and obviously you do not count pieces of chicken, seekh kebabs, and other stuff. While we were making plates for Aftari, we realized that the seekh kebabs are short because we ordered chicken and kebobs in proportion. We managed aftari anyways. My friend was also fan of Desi Corner like you and i told him to go some where else but he said no every one can make mistake and you should have talked to them. He said it is not fair to blame. I agreed, we went together to give another order for next friday aftari and mentioned the missing seekh kebobs in our order. The lady owner who is more rude than the owner firmly said, " No, we count twice adn you should have come right then. I explained to her that I am not asking for compensation but just informing that this should not have happened in first place. She again said, no it can not happen which meant I WAS WRONG AND LYING. Anyways, my friend still ordered aftari and next friday when we went to pick up trays, i stopped him there and asked to unwrap and count the stuff. As expected the food was short again. What surprised me, she was still adamant that is not deliberate, and was absolutely defensive that it can happen to any one and last time it did not happen. Then just to show us she asked the cook why he told her that he had counted all of these.
We had to wait another 20 minutes to complete the order.

They have very poor customer service just because u dont speak their language u are not treated like the rest are. The QTY of rice & chicken has reduced drastically. I dont buy from this store any more..
my reader friends. thats why the name is dasi corner! dont mind what they do just enjoy food as they open late night if no one open dasi corner is opened to feed most. however, go to PARK ROYAL FISH & CHIPS for nice and tradational fish.
Chicken Biryani taste good but chickens are too small and not proportionate
to the amount of rice. The store increased the biryani price but decreased the size of the chicken pieces. I dont mind abt. the price increased as long as Im satisfied. Please dont trimmed the chicken so much........
I agree with the poor customer service comments.Auntie thinks that she is the smartest woman on the earth, moody, arrogant and some times has insulting attitude.Food used to be good but no more and it is expensive, portions are reduced.Go only there if you do not have self respect, good food taste and extra money.
this place is run very poorly. i agree with most readers who find their customer service terrible. the aunty behind the counter ignores incoming customers and sometimes it takes 20-30mins before i can actually order something. i stopped going to this place because of their terrible customer service. they should probably wind up their shop and move to rawalpindi !!

food is good, but the aunty was so rude , i was at the counter this evening around 4 o clock and she was keep talking on the phone and ignored me then after 2 minutes i said i need biryani, then she said "ak minute zara" and start talking again i left the shop and i never ever go again
the food is good the aunties are rude and to smile once in awhile and not EVERYONE speaks urdu so please be alittle bit more polite to your customers if you still want them to come back..other then that its ok

Food is good but they are serving right from the fridge all currys that i dont like .They should serve hot food and fresh food .
